BUILT FORM

Sliding panel doors at the sides of the knee walls concealed the storage areas and makes it accessible. A number of built ins allowed for storage of a large collection of books, a niche at the entry to the attic and a new library at the center of the dormer. The lighting is a combination of low voltage line lighting, sconces and recessed lighting. Bright colors were used to decorate the space. We sanded the existing subfloors and stained them a dark mahagony color.
